Kairaus’ Business Intelligence (BI) services provides expertise to extract data from various systems i.e., Oracle Apps, JD Edwards, etc. The entire lifecycle from data extraction to transformation and data cleaning is an area of expertise in Kairaus.

Kairaus has implemented BI solution for various global leaders across industry. The solution is developed on various technologies like custom .Net code, SharePoint, etc. Kairaus’ BI solution leverages packaged product or fully custom developed solutions based on the client’s technologies preferences and business requirements.

The data is stored by the Enterprises in various information silos. This data is segregated as pre-defined categories, which then produce cubes (OLAP) which stores data in a more analytical environment. This data is extracted by users for generating reports and further analysis. To integrate information silos Kairaus uses SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS) for developing analytical cubes.

• Master Data Management (MDM)
Kairaus’ Master Data Management (MDM) seeks to ensure that an organization does not use multiple versions of the same master data in different parts of its operations. Kairaus assists Enterprises in creating a core of consistent Master Data, which is a critical component of any enterprise Data Warehouse.


• Data Warehousing
Data Warehousing is a central repository of data collected from various data sources. Scheduled runs are done to collect the data from these various sources. This data collected from multiple sources is loaded on the Data Warehouse, which is usually done on a low traffic day or time. Kairaus suggested approach is to do incremental data updates rather than loading entire data every time, saving Enterprises significant effort and time.


• Data Quality
Enterprise data are collected by various sources and are stored in unique format or file, e.g. Ms. Deepti Sharma can be stored as Mrs.Dipti Sharma in Oracle ERP, D Sharma in CRM. This calls for maintaining consistency of data throughout the system which is done by Data scrubbing and sometimes functional intervention. • Data Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL)
The data is Extracted from a system, i.e. Mrs. Dipti Sharma – Transformed to a standard format, Ms. Deepti Sharma and then finally Loaded. Kairaus performs functions such as backing up of databases, checking for consistency, reorganizing indexes, rebuilding indexes, responding to hosted environment changes, e,g., Hard drive getting full, etc.


• Data Migration
Enterprises at times need to upgrade their current data system or migrate to a new technology platform. Kairaus has immense expertise in migrating large volume of databases between Oracle, JD Edwards, SQL Server, etc.

Data analysis & reporting

Kairaus has experience in development and deployment of OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) applications. Using OLAP functionality, Kairaus systems analyst analyzes large volumes of data and prepares strategies through pre-defined queries and adhoc queries for generating reports in near real time basis.

• Custom Report generation
Kairaus completes the BI solution lifecycle by generating web-based reports through SQL Server Reporting Services. The reports are designed and deployed in pre-selected formats complete with parameterized queries using rich API.

1. The reports generated are suitable for print or online distribution and can be exported to Excel, Text, XML, PDF, TIFF, MHTML (or custom rendering extension), etc.
